Many insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits which may cover part or all of your treatment costs. If you have out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
If you’re unsure about whether you have coverage, the best step is to reach out to your insurance company directly by calling the member services phone number on the back of your insurance card. You can ask your insurance provider these questions:
“Can you tell me what mental health services, like therapy, are covered under my insurance plan?”
“If a provider is out-of-network what amount would be reimbursable with my current insurance plan?”
My rate typically ranges from $XXX to $XXX per 50 minute session. I maintain a limited number of sliding scale availability, which we can discuss if paying out of pocket for therapy services would prevent you from accessing these services.
