I use a relational and somatic approach that focuses on both the mind and the body in treating trauma. Using EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, and breathing exercises, we will regulate your nervous system, create a healthy attachment, and reduce the symptoms that are getting in the way of you living your life. As an EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDRIA Consultant-In-Training, and clinician with thousands of hours of EMDR experience, I've developed a unique approach using advanced EMDR protocols, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and an integration of the two together to help you overcome even the most complex challenges.

I earned an advanced certificate in sexuality and gender at Columbia University and received post graduate training in sex therapy from the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy. My approach to sex therapy is first and foremost sex-positive and trauma-informed. I am skilled at working with both couples and individuals and am familiar with both traditional and non-traditional relationship styles. I use Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) to treat OCD. Often, we start here to stabilize and get the skills needed to do the deeper trauma work.

I work from an Intuitive Eating and Health At Every Size framework and believe healthy bodies come in all shapes and sizes. My approach to treating eating disorders is team-based and deeply collaborative. I am happy to work with the existing care teams you already have in place or I can provide you with highly specialized referrals. I use IFS (Internal Family Systems), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as a strengths-based, somatic approach to help you identify new ways of coping, relating, and being. Together, we will look at your relationship with your body as well as your relationship to food at a pace that feels right for you.
I frequently work with clients who are stepping down from a higher level of care who are ready to work on the deeper issues with a provider who is competent in treating eating disorders.
