EMDR is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment that can help heal symptoms resulting from disturbing life experiences. EMDR is widely considered one of the best treatments for trauma and PTSD, and ongoing research supports the efficacy of using EMDR to treat anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, and other distressing life experiences. Often, people worry that what happened to them is not ‘bad enough’ or that they ’should be able to get over it,’ but I encourage anyone with a painful memory or disturbing experience to consider using EMDR to work through it. Whether you have experienced a single traumatic event, have complex trauma, or have had any life experience that is disturbing or painful - EMDR may be able to help alleviate your suffering. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation—the alternate stimulation of the right and left hemispheres of the brain- to activate the brains’ natural healing process. As a result, unprocessed traumatic memories resolve, and symptoms are reduced. It is a somatic approach that focuses on both the mind and body.
“EMDR therapy differs from other trauma-focused treatments in that it does not include extended exposure to the distressing memory, detailed descriptions of the trauma, challenging of dysfunctional beliefs or homework assignments.” American Psychological Association (APA)
I offer EMDR as a stand-alone treatment or integrated into ongoing therapeutic work.

I have received training from MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Science) and am committed to remaining abreast of current and ongoing research and best practices.
Using a harm reduction framework, I will conduct assessments and provide education about the risks and benefits of using psychedelics as well as help you contemplate alternative methods to reach your desired goals. I acknowledge your autonomy and support you in reducing risk and maximizing benefits from whatever life choices you make.
I offer psychotherapy after psychedelic experiences in which I will help you process the experience, clarify gained wisdom or insights, provide support for challenges that may have occurred, and collaborate with you in order to translate your experience into meaningful and long-term change. Psychedelics are powerful teachers that can show us where the work must begin. Together, we will integrate your psychedelic experiences into the whole of your being and life.
Disclaimer: Using controlled substances outside of the lawful supervision of a medical professional may result in health complications and worsening of mental disorders. I do not offer or prescribe psychoactive or controlled substances, nor do I facilitate access to controlled substances. I do not endorse the use of psychedelic substances outside of an approved healthcare setting nor do I support or promote the buying, selling, or using of any illegal substances. You are not alone! My approach to treating ADHD is collaborative, comprehensive, and team based. I believe ADHD is best treated from more than one angle. I will help you unlearn the shame and stigma many people with ADHD have internalized, teach you coping, emotion regulation, and impulse-control skills, help you get the accommodations you are entitled to at work or school, and provide psychoeducation about ADHD and how to live with it. I am happy to work with existing care teams you have in place and I am also able to provide highly specialized referrals to help you set up a support network. I will connect you with an executive functioning coach and collaborate with them as much or as little as you would like me to. I will also connect you to a psychiatrist, work with your existing prescriber. Lastly, I will connect you with a nutritionist who can help you address ADHD related eating challenges and also help you understand how nutrition and ADHD are related. I will also help keep you accountable to the goals you set both inside and outside of therapy.
